My One-Year Workout Journey: From Beginner to Fitness Enthusiast

A year ago, I was a complete beginner in working out. With a body fat percentage of 39%, I didn’t think much about my physical appearance—my big belly felt like a permanent part of me, and I was never unhappy about it. However, everything changed when I embarked on this fitness journey.

Yes, I did it. Lose body fat from 39% to 23% in 12 months | Body Transformation! ❤️

This video was filmed in Shanghai, China, on October 11, 2021.

The Start of My Transformation

In June 2020, I began working out regularly. While I lost some weight over the first year, my belly fat remained prominent. That’s when my new body coach stepped in, emphasizing the importance of changing my diet and improving the quality of my workouts. With consistent effort over just three months, my body fat percentage dropped to 23%.

Not only did I shed the weight, but I also transitioned from an “obese” classification to a “fitness” level. For the first time in my life, I achieved something I thought impossible—a flat stomach!

More Than Physical Changes

This transformation isn’t just about the numbers or the appearance; it’s about the energy, confidence, and happiness I’ve gained. Working out has become a core part of my daily routine, not just a temporary goal. Consistency played a key role, not only in achieving progress but also in building a sustainable habit that I plan to carry forward for the rest of my life.

A New Perspective and Friendship

One unexpected joy of this journey has been the friendships I’ve built—especially with my body coach. Sharing knowledge and experiences with someone outside my field has been refreshing and inspiring. As a developer, I even proposed an app idea inspired by fitness, which I’m currently working on and hope to share soon!

This journey has been about growth, health, and creating a new lifestyle. I hope my story inspires you to explore your own paths to self-improvement.

What habits have transformed your life? Let’s grow together! 🌟
