I was thrilled to be invited by my friend to Eindhoven. I was shown around this place and also had a fantastic Thai meal at my friend’s house.
This weekend was an eclectic mix of experiences—a peek into the peaceful farm life, playing with my friend’s adorable cat, and savoring homemade Thai food. Let me take you through it.
We visited a farm in the Netherlands where I got a glimpse of how much effort goes into running it. One detail stuck with me: the cows consume about 20 kilograms of feed a day—10 kilos per meal, twice a day. It’s a meticulous process, and while it’s a profitable business, it also comes with its challenges. The peaceful atmosphere of the farm, punctuated by the occasional bark of a dog and the calm mooing of cows, felt like stepping into a different world.
Later, I spent time with my friend’s cat—a playful and curious creature. Watching it dash around and cuddle up was such a joy. Cats have this magical way of lightening the mood and making any moment more delightful.
The day wrapped up perfectly with a delicious meal of Thai food cooked by my friend. The vibrant flavors, spicy yet comforting, were the cherry on top of an already fulfilling day. Nothing beats homemade food, especially when it’s prepared with care and shared in good company.
This day reminded me of the beauty in the simple things—farm animals, furry friends, and flavorful food. It’s these little joys that make life in the Netherlands so unique and memorable. 🌾🐈🍲
